Maltem Asia is seeking a UI UX Product/Solution Designer for a Wealth Management Client based in Singapore.

- The successful candidate will be responsible for elevating design standards and delivering outcomes that require complex stakeholder management and coordination across multiple cross-functional teams within a sophisticated investment operation system.
- He/she is a creative thinker who can think outside the box, motivate teams, and achieve results even in challenging situations.
- The candidate is expected to work efficiently, push boundaries, and embrace new ideas.
- Understand the full scope of a typical user-centered design process with the ability to think strategically and creatively about the holistic vision for a product experience that solves real customer pain points.
- Plan and conduct cross-functional product strategy workshops to facilitate ideation and creation of UX-related artifacts to help with product scoping and delivery planning.
- Design flows and experiences that simplify and distill complex actions into usable interfaces, contributing to the design system and visual systems.
- Strong focus on usability, interaction design, and design thinking.
- Conduct user research to make trade-offs backed by validated user testing, data, and experience.
- Handle stakeholder expectations, set a clear vision, and secure buy-in across functions.
- Evangelize design across the organization.
- Research and analyze industry UX/UI trends and competitor strategies.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience as a UX/Product Designer.
- Degree in Design (e.g., graphic, interaction, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with design techniques such as:
- Running ideation workshops
- Building User Personas
- Storyboarding
- Wireframes
- Visual directions
- Prototyping
- Proficient in responsive design and web UI/UX design.
- Possess strong design portfolio with projects in the technology/finance space.
- Strong passion in building delightful design experiences.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with an ability to quickly command trust and respect from executives and partners.
- Possess a healthy blend of strategic thinking capabilities with an innate "dream big, start small" mindset and an eagle eye for detail.
- Possess 'User Empathy' skill and interest, with a strong drive to discover and resolve their pain points.
- Possess strong ownership, leadership and accountability qualities.
- Experience working in an agile and fast-paced environment will be advantageous.
- Experience in the finance industry with a good understanding of the investment environment will be an added advantage.
