Our client, a leading hedge fund, is seeking a Senior Risk Developer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to build a cutting-edge, cloud-native cross-asset risk platform for derivative products. This initiative is part of a long-term strategy to enhance risk management capabilities across diverse financial instruments.

What you'll do:

• Design, develop, and maintain a next-generation risk platform tailored for cross-asset derivative products.
• Implement high-performance data aggregation solutions leveraging ClickHouse.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and quantitative analysts to deliver impactful solutions.
• Enhance risk modeling and analytics through innovative technology implementations.
• Engage in hands-on coding using Python and C++ to optimize performance and scalability.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in building high-performance, scalable systems using Python and C++.
• Familiarity with ClickHouse, Iceberg, or other high-performance data platforms.
• Deep understanding of market risk metrics (e.g., VaR) and their application to derivative trading.
• Proven ability to design and implement efficient solutions for complex technical challenges.
• Passionate about driving innovation and building transformative technology solutions.
