WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
As a Computer Vision Engineer, you’ll:
- Design & Train – Build CV models for object detection, tracking, and spatial reasoning
- Deploy to Edge – Optimize and deploy models to devices like NVIDIA Jetson, for real-time robotic applications
- Integrate & Scale – Collaborate with robotics engineers to integrate perception pipelines into end-to-end systems
- Innovate Continuously – Own the full ML lifecycle from experimentation to deployment in the field
WE NEED YOU TO HAVE…
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Robotics, or similar
- 3+ years of commercial experience
- Training and deploying computer vision models (e.g., YOLO, Faster R-CNN, SSD, etc.)
- Working with edge computing platforms (Jetson Nano/Xavier, Raspberry Pi, etc.)
- Optimizing models for performance (using tools like TensorRT, ONNX, or OpenVINO)
- Strong coding skills in Python and C++ for embedded/real-time applications
- Experience with deep learning libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Solid understanding of CV fundamentals (camera models, calibration, image pipelines)
- Australian Citizenship (required for client work and field operations)
IT’S NICE TO HAVE…
- Familiarity with ROS/ROS2 and CV integration into robotic systems
- Experience with CUDA, GPU acceleration, or hardware-optimized inference
- Skills in multi-camera setups, stereo vision, or 3D reconstruction
- Understanding of robotics control, SLAM, or motion planning
- Strong engineering practices (e.g., Git, CI/CD, testing frameworks)
- Experience in field testing or working with physical hardware
- Interest in early-stage startups and wearing multiple hats
