Your role in our team

You will become part of a global Project Management Office (PMO) and work closely together with project teams in Vienna and Project Managers in Europe on ensuring high level of project management and coordination on projects, which will support our application areas and focus primarily on Product Development including Systems Engineering, Software, Hardware and Mechanical disciplines.

PMO focuses on developing the future global internal project manager competence center. You will be able to contribute to the implementation of internal project management best practices and be engaged in change management activities. Moreover, you will potentially have the opportunity over time to change into other PMO roles related to project management, process excellence and portfolio management, dependent on your career interests and talents.

As our new Project Coordinator in our Vienna office, you will be responsible for support planning, reporting and drive work packages in a specialized and high pulse project environment, primarily within Space and electronics technology development. The tasks can be generated by both project specific activities and project management office related activities.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting several development projects throughout the project lifecycle, including project and portfolio status reporting and supplier coordination activities
  • Taking part in initiation and planning of projects coordination and follow up on project execution and supporting on project and portfolio status reporting.
  • Assist in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with project managers and senior engineers
  • Collect lessons learnt and continuously improve the way we work with projects

Your profile

  • You are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. German is an advantage but not a requirement.
  • You hold a relevant education e.g. a bachelor’s or a master’s degree within Electrical or Electronics engineering, Business Administration or a similar field of study
  • Some experience working with development projects, preferable with some experience within electronics or space product development environments
  • You have excellent IT skills and are an experienced user in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with EMC standards and certification processes is a plus
  • Insight and/or experience in different project models, including agile development is preferred
  • Experience with JIRA is a plus

With a result-oriented mindset, you are a strong communicator and collaborator with a high level of integrity.

You find good energy in stakeholder management and cross-functional teamwork, building relationships and ensuring alignment across teams and project stakeholders with diverse interests. You thrive in dynamic environments, working closely with a global team of Project Managers, where clear communication, status transparency, and priority alignment are essential on a day-to-day basis. You are self-driven and with an analytical mindset and a structured approach, you maintain a clear overview while thriving in dynamic project environments. Your ability to translate complex discussions into actionable plans drives progress and keeps projects on track.

For legal reasons, we would like to point out the minimum salary of € 49,000.- gross per year on a full-time basis (38,5 hours). Based on your qualifications, we offer an attractive salary, which may be higher than the collective agreement.
