Lead/Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead/Senior DevOps Engineer to join a growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining AWS infrastructure. You will lead the DevOps efforts, ensuring seamless deployment and operation of applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure AWS infrastructure using services like EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, and VPC.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Implement containerisation and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Develop and maintain Docker containers for application deployment.
• Utilise Postman for API testing and validation.
• Implement security best practices in AWS environments.
• Lead and mentor junior DevOps engineers.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployments.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with AWS services and infrastructure.
• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in using Postman for API testing.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools
• Strong scripting skills
• Experience with Linux system administration.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong understanding of networking and security principles.
• Knowledge of API design principles.
