Software Engineer

Strategic Staffing Solutions International client - the world's second largest stock exchange. We are currently looking for a Software Engineer with experience in C# or Java and a willingness to learn Ruby.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• As a Senior Software Developer, you will join a 4-5 member product focused development team who architect, implement, and maintain solutions through new and existing applications.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers to develop full-stack solutions, with an emphasis on .NET 8 and React
• Participate in an agile scrum-based development process, with a dedicated Product Owner to code, test, debug, and implement software solutions
• Proactively identify and resolve potential problems/issues including authoring of technical specifications
• Apply the best software development practices including code standards and architectural decisions
• Mentor colleagues through advice, coaching and training

MUST-HAVE:

• Experience working with one of the following server-side programming languages: C# or Java
• Willingness to learn Ruby

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• A degree qualified in a field related to Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
• JavaScript frameworks: Vue.Js, Angular, or React
• Solid understanding of Relational Storage technologies: PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server
• Proven experience of designing and implementing sophisticated software solution

NICE TO HAVE (OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN):

• Software delivery experience in a SaaS environment
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS or Azure
• Infrastructure as Code experience, such as Terraform or Cloud Formation
• Microservices design & development experience

Senior Level: Salary of up to 5500 EUR/gross + annual bonus

Mid Level: Salary of up to 4500 EUR/gross + annual bonus
