Job Description
The Behavioural Modelling Team is part of Group Finance, which oversees the bank’s liquidity and interest rate risks. In the role of Senior Data Scientist, you will build predictive models and apply data science techniques to forecast developments in the bank’s balance sheet. Your primary workplace will be our Vilnius office.
You will:
Monthly salary range from 4160 EUR to 6240 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).

In the role of Senior Data Scientist, you will build predictive models and apply data science techniques to forecast developments in the bank’s balance sheet. Your primary workplace will be our Vilnius office.
- Depending on your experience, you may be offered a different seniority of the role.
You will:
- Develop sophisticated predictive models and analytical tools from initial concept to final deployment using SQL, Python, Azure DevOps, Openshift
- Collaborate with end users, developers, and other stakeholders to integrate data discoveries and processes into the existing infrastructure
- Drive improvements to the processes within the modelling area
- Conduct independent research on potential methodologies
- Develop subject-matter expertise in a wide range of domains
- Share your knowledge and insights with the team and stakeholders
- 3+ years of experience in developing models from scratch
- Proficiency in researching and applying various statistical methods and machine learning algorithms
- Proficiency in programming languages: Python and SQL
- Experience in code automation and model deployment would be an advantage, especially if you are familiar with AWS or OpenShift
- Team-oriented and collaborative personality, while also being capable of organizing your own work
- Keenly curious and motivated to learn new concepts
- Thrives in delivering effective solutions for problems characterized by high uncertainty
- Upper-Intermediate English language skills
- Expertise in Tableau is beneficial
