Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Innovation, Agile and Design Thinking Coach to support the OTC team in primarily based in Nyon. The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching high-performing teams, fostering an innovative mindset, and driving people-centred design (design thinking) across our organization. This role requires a unique blend of coaching expertise, creativity, and strategic thinking to disrupt conventional approaches and inspire breakthrough solutions.
Duration: 8 months / 2 ½ days a week expectation 20 to 30 hours a week, flexible base.
The challenge
Redesign the ways of working, collaboration in Front End Innovation with agile practices, cross-functional teamwork, iterative learning, clarity, and pace. Two pilot programs aim to meet commercial business needs. A coach will support the teams and help redefine our working methods. There will also be a program manager in place to manage the operational details of the 2 teams.
Key Deliverables
1. Coach Innovation Teams: Coach and mentor two of our Front-end Innovation teams in
new ways of working (including Agile & Design Thinking) and culture , including 1:1
support to unlock creative thinking. Working on initiatives to enhance their capabilities,
collaboration, and performance.
2. Drive Innovative Solutions: Challenge and disrupt traditional thinking to drive
innovative solutions and approaches.
3. Inform Innovation Goals: Input intoour innovation goals and create a plan to achieve
them.
4. Design and Scope Involvement: Help to design and scope their activity and change
management plan for our business needs.
5. Facilitate Workshops: Facilitate workshops, training, and coaching sessions to build
design thinking, innovation, and creative problem-solving capabilities.
6. Train & Build Agile way of working capabilities: Teach and guide teams on how to
operate in an Agile way that is relevant to the OTC business context.
7. Guide Design Thinking Process: Guide teams through the design thinking process, from
empathy and ideation to prototyping and testing.
8. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with the two cross-functional
teams to integrate design thinking principles into project workflows and business
strategies.
9. Foster Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement,
experimentation, and learning.
10. Provide Ongoing Support: Provide ongoing support and feedback to teams, helping
them navigate challenges and achieve their goals.
11. Manage Stakeholder Expectations: Provide ongoing support to help teams deliver on
their required goals, meet, and manage stakeholder expectations.
12. Deliver a toolkit and (ongoing) recommendations to inform our governance,
processes, documentation and ways of working (WoW) to support change management;
to embed innovative mindset, design thinking, continuous improvement, experimentation
and iterative learning.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in coaching, innovation, or design thinking roles.
• Proven track record of successfully coaching high-performing teams and driving
innovative solutions.Strong knowledge of design thinking principles, methodologies,
and tools.
• Demonstrated experience in Change Management
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically and creatively, challenging the status quo.
• Experience in leading workshops and training sessions.
Preferred Qualifications
• Certification in coaching, design thinking, or related fields.
• Experience in the consumer healthcare or OTC industry.
• Proficiency in design thinking tools.
