Requirements

We think you'll be best geared for success if you can meet the following requirements:
Mandatory prior work experience of 3 years
Exposure to Cloud native data platforms and modern architectures (event-driven, real-time)
Thorough understanding of data lifecycle value chain and underlying components (ETL/ELT, DWH/Data Lake)
Expert in Python & SQL
Azure data ecosystem (ingestion, storage, analytics & data visualization): Azure Ingestion framework, Data Bricks, Azure Synapse, Delta Lake, MS PowerBI
Excellent command of the English language both written & spoken.

You will be joining our Retail Media department. Ahold Delhaize has recognized that Retail Media, also called The 3rd Wave (after Search and Social Media), as an opportunity. We started with retail media in Europe 10 years ago at Albert Heijn. Since then, we have seen continuous double-digit growth in the Benelux, driven by Albert Heijn Media Services (AHMS) and Bol.com Retail Media (BRM). Both are considered pioneers in retail media, with an innovative edge and an impressive collection of privacy-proof first-party data.

Key responsibilities of your role.
As technology expert, you will have the freedom to design solutions bringing our advertising departments further in utilizing our enormous amounts of ad serving and customer data. All to bring more relevancy to the customer and increase ad performance!
On a day-to-day basis, you are aligning with sales teams, Ad Operations how to build the best insights. You will build those new features/insights and sit close too (literally next to) the users to see how it's used and how we could further improve.
