Overview:

WideXP is actively expanding its engineering network and seeking DevOps Engineers based in Romania to join our vetted talent pool. We partner with U.S.-based startups, scale-ups, and enterprise clients who are looking for long-term remote contractors with strong DevOps expertise.

This is not a one-off project. Once you're in our network, we actively promote your profile to hiring managers, helping you secure high-quality remote roles with competitive pay and global exposure.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines

• Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling processes

• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure smooth release cycles

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure and deployment

Requirements:

• Must be a resident of Romania

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering

• Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins

• Solid knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS preferred, but Azure or GCP also accepted)

• Familiarity with infrastructure as code and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)

• Strong communication skills in English (B2 level or higher)

• Availability for full-time contract work
