This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our platform infrastructure, driving automation practices across our CI/CD pipelines and contributing to our broader DevOps culture.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support fast-paced and high-quality software delivery.
- Build automation for deployments across multiple environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DevOps practices seamlessly into the development lifecycle.
- Enhance platform scalability, reliability, and security in on-premises and cloud environments.
- Advocate for DevOps best practices, promoting a culture of automation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to identify and analyze incidents, develop and implement solutions.
- Stay up to date with emerging tools, trends, and technologies, and share knowledge within the team.
- Have the patience and ability as a subject matter expert to communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Ensure that you adhere to the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) obligations for your role.
- Identify and raise any non-compliance incidents promptly to your line manager.
- Challenge processes, policies and projects that will negatively impact compliance within the Group.
- Complete all mandatory compliance training assigned to you.
- Reach out to the Compliance Teams if unsure of any of your compliance obligations or the requirements are unclear.

Required Skills
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or Developer in a fast-paced, technically challenging environment.
- Experience of designing and building reusable CI/CD pipelines using industry standard tools such as Jenkins, Github Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, TeamCity.
- Experience with container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes and working in a dynamic containerised environment.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, Groovy etc.). Having experience with Java and build tools Maven and Gradle is a plus.
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Cloudformation.
- A proactive, problem-solving attitude with a focus on quality, innovation, and collaboration.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster partnerships and drive cross-functional alignment.
