Java Software Engineer

What You'll Bring?

• 3-5 years experience in Java development
• Experience with Azure, Spring, postgresSQL, Kubernetes or similar
• Skilled in microservices, integration
• Added plus if you have Fullstack ability
• Passion for software development, working to be quality and detail oriented
• Fluent in Norwegian

What You'll Do?

• Build and maintain secure, scalable web applications used by millions across Norway
• Work hands-on with a modern Java backend stack, including Spring, PostgreSQL, Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Design and implement microservices and robust integrations between internal systems and external partners
• Contribute to fullstack development—primarily backend, but with opportunities to work across the stack
• Collaborate in a cross-functional product team alongside developers, UX, and other stakeholders
• Write high-quality, testable code with a strong emphasis on security, performance, and maintainability
• Engage in technical discussions, pair programming, and code reviews in a team that values learning and collaboration
