Assistant Project Manager Job Scope
- Project Planning & CoordinationAssist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets. Coordinate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Track project milestones and deliverables, ensuring timely completion.
- Documentation & ReportingPrepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, contracts, and meeting minutes. Monitor project progress and generate status updates for management and clients. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Resource ManagementAssist in managing project resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment. Support procurement activities by coordinating with suppliers and vendors. Monitor and control project costs to stay within budget.
- Risk Management & Problem-SolvingIdentify potential project risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies. Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions to keep the project on track. Escalate critical issues to the Project Manager when necessary.
- Stakeholder CommunicationAct as a liaison between clients, contractors, and internal teams. Participate in meetings, presentations, and discussions related to project progress. Address client inquiries and ensure their expectations are met.
- Quality & ComplianceEnsure all project activities adhere to quality standards and company guidelines. Conduct site inspections and audits as required. Support in obtaining necessary permits and approvals.
- Team Support & LeadershipAssist the Project Manager in leading and motivating the project team. Provide guidance to junior staff and coordinate team activities. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
