PHP Developer

Salary range: Rs 400000 - Rs 700000 (ie INR 4-7 LPA)

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Lead software development activities including coding, integration, testing, debugging, documentation, and implementation.
Contribute to building and iterating new product features such as:

API development
Enhanced user onboarding
Payment workflows
Vendor tools
UX/UI improvements

Ensure adherence to best practices across software design—emphasizing modularity, reusability, and maintainability.
Plan and execute development timelines, estimations, and technical deliverables.
Develop custom plugins and enhance existing platform functionality.
Implement SEO-optimized processes across web and advertising platforms.
Upgrade and optimize platform to align with the latest PHP versions.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a software engineering role.
Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Smarty, jQuery.
Strong experience with SQL and MySQL databases.
Mandatory: Hands-on experience with CS-Cart.
Comfortable working across both frontend and backend.
Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Cursor AI) is a plus.
Strong communication skills and fluency in English (written and spoken).
Self-starter with the ability to work independently without supervision.
Comfortable working remotely with some overlap in GMT hours.
Professional and detail-oriented approach to work.
