Your Responsibilities

• You develop and maintain software for distributed video networks and advanced video processing applications.
• You are responsible for driving the software architecture of the system.
• You create and optimize automated tests, both at unit and integration level.
• You are expected to perform high-quality code reviews to keep our code clean and tidy and to write documentation for software components and APIs.
• You will be working on identifying and documenting technical requirements for new features and providing time and complexity estimates for upcoming development tasks.
• You will be regularly collaborating with other R&D teams and stakeholders to align technical solutions.
• You will be asked to mentor and guide junior developers through pair programming and by acting as an advisor for technical challenges.
  
  
  

THAT’S YOU

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering or a comparable qualification.
• At least 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on implementing Kotlin or Java applications.
• Expertise in developing backend software components and in UX/UI design and implementation.
• Experience with web technologies e.g. Angular/JS is an advantage.
• Independent working style, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to developing high-quality software.
• Written and verbal fluency in English and German to effectively communicate in a multinational team.
