We are looking for a Data Scientist for a long term role in this project in Lisbon (hybrid).

Required Competences

  • MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field;
  • +2 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or a similar role;
  • Proven knowledge and experience in Machine Learning, NLP, and text dataset curation;
  • Previous experience in coding for real-world data analytics applications;
  • Experience in NLP tasks, such as Text Classification, NER, and Information Retrieval;
  • Experience working with LLMs, OpenAI API (or equivalent), and RAG;
  • Proficiency in Python and ML/DL packages (PyTorch, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, Pandas);
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese.

Preferential Competences

  • Experience with Cafe;
  • Knowledge of programming languages like Java, R and C++;
  • Knowledge of cloud tools such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud;
  • Experience with MLOPs practices.
