Job Description

Mago is currently looking for a talented Senior Frontend Developer to join our team and help build the foundation of our innovative video stylization / AI rendering technology.

Role: Full-Time Position

Location: Paris, France (Hybrid)

Level: Senior

🛠️ What You'll Do

• Drive excellent user experience, continually improving functionality, usability, and simplicity
• Implement, update, and maintain features and user interfaces for our video processing and AI rendering tool
• Integrate and automate frontend tests (including end-to-end tests) and add logging and monitoring to the frontend stack
• Provide leadership and mentorship to other team members
• Collaborate with Backend and ML teams to deliver compelling user-facing products
• Design efficient and reusable frontend systems that power complex web applications
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
• Work cross-functionally to define problems, collect data, build analytical models, and develop highly scalable solutions
• Work closely with UX/UI to ensure seamless integration of designs
• Help build and maintain a well-documented Design System
  
  

Preferred Experience

🔎 What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in Frontend Engineering
• Strong proficiency in React (Hooks, Suspense, etc.)
• Ability to carry a frontend testing strategy
• Strong skills in integrating APIs, caching, and state management
• Proficiency in frontend optimizations and performance tuning
• Ability to work on complex interactive interfaces
• B2 level minimum in English (intermediate)
  
  

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience working with video editing software or 3D animation tools
• Knowledge of film production and 3D animation DCC (Unreal Engine, Blender, After Effects…)
• Familiarity with Stable Diffusion and AI-driven image/video generation
• Knowledge of backend languages
