Virtual Product Manager

Sisal Sans, established in partnership with Sisal S.p.A and Demirören Holding, is an organization that provides services in both the retail and digital sectors, authorized to carry out the games of chance in Turkey for 10 years in 2020.


We are looking for a Virtual Product Manager for our company, leading in Turkish gaming industry. The position reports to the Head of Marketing, Virtual Betting.


About the Role:

As the Virtual Product Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful development, launch, and management of virtual betting products across both retail and online channels. You will focus on aligning virtual initiatives with the strategic roadmap and budget while driving innovation, optimizing user experiences, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality gaming experiences. This role requires a dynamic professional with strong project management skills, a deep understanding or interest in games of the chance industry, and a passion for delivering exceptional products to players.


Key Responsibilities:

Product Ownership and Development:

  • Take ownership of the virtual betting product lifecycle, managing the journey from concept to launch and beyond.
  • Collaborate with the HQ product team and local stakeholders to design and develop new virtual betting products and features.
  • Conduct product testing and ensure that all launches meet quality and performance standards.
  • Coordinate with IT teams for the technical development and implementation of games
  • Formulate and lead the U/X roadmap for digital sales channels in collaboration with IT teams to enhance player engagement and satisfaction.


Execution of Marketing Strategies:

  • Translate the strategic roadmap provided by the Head of Marketing, Virtual Betting, into actionable product initiatives.
  • Build and implement the pricing, payout, and distribution models for virtual betting products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and optimal product accessibility across all channels.
  • Develop distribution strategies that optimize physical and digital product availability to reach and engage players wherever they are.
  • Develop and execute campaigns and promotions tailored to each product’s objectives and target audience.
  • Adapt global strategies to suit local market nuances and player preferences.


Player Insights and Data Analysis:

  • Dive deep into player insights, analysing behaviour, preferences, and feedback to refine product offerings.
  • Track and report on product performance using analytics and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and recommending actionable solutions.
  • Leverage data to prioritize product enhancements and identify growth opportunities.


Channel Collaboration and Optimization:

  • Work closely with sales and operations teams to ensure product availability and visibility across retail and online channels.
  • Optimize the retail and digital presence of products, ensuring consistent and seamless experiences for players.
  • Collaborate with account management teams to maximize performance on digital platforms.


Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on product timelines, features, and goals.
  • Coordinate with technology teams to ensure smooth product implementation and updates.
  • Support the Head of Marketing in aligning product initiatives with overall business objectives.


Market Monitoring and Competitive Benchmarking:

  • Monitor market trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to ensure Sisal Şans remains at the forefront of innovation.
  • Regularly benchmark against industry leaders and propose enhancements to maintain competitive differentiation.


Compliance and Operational Excellence:

  • Ensure all products adhere to relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to product operations.
  • Own and effectively monitor product and marketing expense budgets.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, a master’s degree is a plus,
  • 9-10 years of experience in product / brand management or a similar role, preferably within the betting and/ or FMCG sectors.,
  • Demonstrated experience managing the end-to-end product lifecycle, including concept development, market launches, and post-launch optimization,
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) and a proven ability to turn data into actionable insights,
  • Familiarity on / knowledge of sports betting products and player behaviour is preferred.,
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment,
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset and experience working across teams,
  • Familiarity with digital platforms and online gaming environments is a significant advantage.
