With the aim of encouraging creativity, inspiring communities, and supporting arts education, we are preparing to deliver unforgettable experiences to audiences through a wide range of multidisciplinary content that brings together people from all walks of life.

As part of this journey, we are looking for a Stage Manager to support the technical operations in the field of performing arts. This position will be responsible for the technical preparation of the stage, coordination of the team, and maintaining control of the stage throughout the event flow.

What do we expect?

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating and/or executing the setup and dismantling of modular stage systems with all related components
• Arranging and securing stage décor and seating layouts in various configurations, and conducting safety checks
• Installing and checking stage and perimeter curtains and masking elements
• Operating both automated and manual stage mechanics in a safe manner
• Guiding artist crews on stage and supporting rehearsal processes
• Collaborating with the technical team for soundchecks and other show elements that require stage integration
• Monitoring stage flow during events and intervening when necessary
• Performing regular maintenance on stage equipment and tracking inventory
• Ensuring safety standards within the stage area and proactively minimizing risks
• Fully complying with the venue's technical and safety regulations
• Acting in accordance with fire, electrical, and occupational safety protocols
• Being prepared for emergency situations and working in coordination with the team
• Supporting team collaboration, maintaining team spirit, and contributing to an efficient work environment
• Working professionally, collaboratively, and solution-oriented with artists and their production teams

Qualifications:

• Experienced in stage setup and mechanical operations; skilled in coordinating technical crews
• Knowledgeable and experienced in stage technologies and materials
• Preferably has basic carpentry knowledge
• Preferably has basic electrical knowledge
• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD
• Familiarity with Vectorworks is a plus
• Good command of English (preferred)
• Willing to work in variable shift schedules based on event requirements
• Detail-oriented, with strong analytical thinking and high-level problem-solving skills
• Open to learning and development; values team collaboration and safe working practices
• Based in Istanbul, preferably residing on the Anatolian side
