Role Overview:


As a Machine Learning Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing and deploying real-time intelligent systems that power the future of connected and autonomous roads. This is your opportunity to work on impactful mobility problems, contribute to groundbreaking solutions, and collaborate with an elite team of innovators.


This is a remote role, giving you the flexibility to contribute from anywhere while working on impactful mobility problems.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and develop advanced machine learning and deep learning models using sensor data from vehicles and roadway infrastructure.
  • Build and maintain scalable software pipelines for computer vision applications including data curation, model training, testing, and deployment.
  • Solve challenging traffic-related problems through innovative ML and CV approaches.
  • Develop cost-efficient and intelligent solutions for video-based inference at the edge.
  • Train and optimise deep learning models for performance, accuracy, and real-world deployment.
  • Collaborate closely with a cross-functional team of engineers, researchers, and domain experts to drive innovation and product development.


Requirements / Experience:


  • 2 + years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning and Computer Vision
  • Strong proficiency in Python / C++, with solid software engineering practices (modular code, testing, version control)
  • Proven experience in training and optimising deep learning models, designing custom loss functions, and tuning hyper parameters on real-world data
  • Solid foundation in ML principles, probability, statistics, linear algebra, and algorithm design
  • Familiarity with Kalman filters, motion models, and state estimators
  • Experience with sensor fusion (RGB, thermal, depth) and geometric computer vision techniques (e.g., optical flow, stereo vision) is a plus
  • Practical knowledge of deep learning frameworks and NVIDIA toolkits
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and contribute to innovative, real-world solutions


Education:


  • M.S. or B.S. in Computer Science or a related field
