Senior Full Stack Python Developer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Full Stack Python Developer to support the migration of our application from Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) to Azure. The ideal candidate will collaborate on enhancing our existing application built with Python, FastAPI, GoLang, React.js, and PostgreSQL, all while adhering to modern security standards and infrastructure best practices.

Responsibilities


  • Develop and enhance full-stack applications using Python (FastAPI) and GoLang
  • Optimize and design schemas for PostgreSQL
  • Containerize applications using Docker
  • Migrate and manage application deployment from GKE to Azure
  • Utilize Azure services such as Azure Kubernetes Service, App Services, and Azure Database for PostgreSQL
  • Implement and maintain security standards, specifically OWASP, within the application
  • Debug and resolve software defects
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure best practices in software development
  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders


Requirements


  • Proficiency in Python (FastAPI) and GoLang for back-end development
  • Solid understanding of PostgreSQL, including optimization and schema design
  • Experience with Docker and containerized applications
  • Familiarity with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) or Kubernetes and prior experience migrating applications to Azure
  • Familiarity with Azure services, especially Azure Kubernetes Service, App Services, Azure Database for PostgresSQL
  • Expertise in implementing security standards like OWASP
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills


Nice to have


  • Background in Terraform or other IaC tools
  • Experience with React.js and modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies
