Mandatory Skills:

• Experience with Juniper and Extreme switches.
• Knowledge of Border Leaf Switch management.
• Hands-on experience configuring Extreme and Juniper switches.
• Understanding of switch boot process, firmware upgrades, and backup procedures.
• Understanding switch port configurations (access/trunk, etc.).
• Understanding VLANs, VLAN tagging and VLAN trunking.
• Ability to analyze switch performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Configuration of ACLs (Access Control Lists) for traffic filtering.
• Good knowledge on Cloud, concepts and package / registry management
• Troubleshooting skills on Kubernetes cluster, CNIS (Eric cloud SW)
• Calico networking skills / knowledge on SDI
• Kubernetes certification
• Experience with hardware replacement procedures for Juniper and Extreme switches.
• Ability to troubleshoot and replace faulty switch components (power supplies, fans, modules etc).
• Understanding of switch stacking and chassis management.
• Understanding of SDN (Software-Defined Networking) concepts.
• Good hands-on experience on Red hat Linux enterprise System administration and troubleshooting, with cluster knowledge.
• Carry out scheduled activities like Patch management, firmware upgrades.
• LVM Management
• Knowledge on scheduling backups & recovery
• Hardware knowledge/troubleshooting skills on HP ProLiant servers, DELL HW
• Understanding of SAN topology, usage/troubleshooting
• Provide the root cause analysis on the major incidents/problems.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP networks
• Performance troubleshooting and tuning
• Understanding of SAN
• Host side storage multipathing/MPIO administration and troubleshooting
• Provide the root cause analysis on the major incidents/problems.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes
  
  

Good to have but not mandatory:

• Configuration management tools –Ansible
• Linux Scripting
• REDHAT Certification
