Job Description

As an Agile Project Manager you will undertake project management responsibilities in the execution of technology projects. Reporting to the Director of Programme Management, you will be the voice of the projects ensuring projects are completed within the established timelines and coaching resources to drive at pace with our sprint rhythm and project deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • You will create project timelines and distribute responsibilities across one or more teams
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and publish project status reports, ensuring milestones are reached and deadlines are met throughout project lifecycle, and escalate project risks or issues.
  • You wil present regular executive status updates
  • Prioritise and work on multiple projects concurrently, with confidence to manage multiple project management tasks and delegate while still following PM standards and processes
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, Technical Product Owners, Program owners and others outside the team
  • Facilitate ceremonies, including stand-ups, grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Coach and lead a team towarda stable velocity using available metrics to determine opportunities and drive action
  • Protect the team from outside interruptions and address distractions, disruptions, and obstacles so the team is free to focus on the work

Qualifications

  • Proven experience project managing software or technical projects with experience using project management and collaboration tools (Microsoft Project, Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet)
  • Demonstrated experience developing project plans for technical or software projects including project goals, scope, plans and schedules, project issues and risks
  • Scrum Master certification desirable
  • Can work well with diverse teams regionally and globally
  • Experience using Atlassian application suite (Confluence, JIRA)
