About The Job - Software Engineer - Full Stack

We are looking for early in career engineers with a keen interest for code development on Linux platforms or cloud platforms, to join our engineering group working on implementing solutions in the broadcast and video technology space. You will work on cutting edge technology, be able to generate innovative solutions to problems and ensure quality software is delivered to our customers.

Responsibilities

The role is development focused, mainly working on the design, implementation and testing of new features on an industry leading video processing platform within scrum feature teams.

• Develop software increments (tasks) through established practices (design, coding, unit testing and reviewing)
• Take part in daily scrums where the team shares impediments and progress on the sprint plan
• Demonstrate newly developed features to a broader audience
• Final feature testing, hardening the solution before each quarterly release
• Automation of build, test, or any other task
• Coding using c/c++, Bash scripting, Python, Ansible, …
• Developing on Linux
• Docker and Kubernetes
  
  

Skills Required

• Software development concepts
• Understanding of design patterns
• A selection of the above mentioned languages
• Familiarity with a Linux (development) environment
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to foster and maintain relationships
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage numerous projects and priorities at once
