Overview

A long-term opportunity is available for a Senior React Developer to join an agile team contributing to a high-impact program focused on transport execution solutions. The scope includes development of mobile apps, Azure-based cloud backends, web interfaces, and integration with legacy systems. This role combines strong technical skills with solution-oriented thinking and a deep understanding of both software design and business need

s.We're looking for a proactive and communicative developer who can take ownership of features, propose improvements, and collaborate closely with technical leads and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop intuitive and performant front-end components using ReactJS (v17.0.2) and TypeScript
• Build modern, accessible UIs with MUI v5
• Implement robust timezone handling using Moment.js
• Manage and work across multiple environments (DEV, TST, ACC, PROD) with CI/CD via Azure DevOps
• Write unit tests using Jest and React Testing Library to ensure high-quality code
• Collaborate within an agile team using the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
• Ensure internationalization using Loco for translations

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience with ReactJS
• 2+ years working with MUI
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript
• Proven experience with unit testing best practices
• Minimum 2 days onsite in Brussels
• Fluent in English and either Dutch or French

Preferred Skills

• Solid understanding of React Context API and functional components
• Advanced experience with Jest and React Testing tools
• Experience with React Native
• Familiarity with Moment.js for handling timezones
• Hands-on experience with Atlassian tools
• Knowledge of i18n standards and localization practices
• Experience deploying and managing pipelines in Azure DevOps
