Network Operations Centre (NOC) Engineer – Cisco & Fortinet Support

Based in a Dublin-based Network Operations Centre (NOC), this role involves remote support of customer infrastructure, ensuring secure, stable, and high-performing networks.
Responsibilities:
Customer Support
- Provide second-level support for Cisco and Fortinet network/security incidents
- Manage incidents from initial engagement to full resolution while adhering to SLAs
- Troubleshoot issues using vendor support channels, internal tools, and peer collaboration
- Escalate complex cases to senior team members or vendor TAC
- Perform daily network health checks and generate technical summaries for clients
- Deliver proactive support using RMM tools and automation
- Produce weekly/monthly reports for internal and customer review
Internal Infrastructure Support
- Support internal technical environments including networking, security, servers, and endpoints
- Take ownership of patching, preventative maintenance, and incident response
- Ensure monitoring and RMM tools are configured correctly and securely
- Suggest improvements for managed services and technical operations environments
Other Duties
- Ensure proper incident documentation in line with internal processes
- Liaise with vendor technical support as needed during issue resolution
- Participate in on-call rotation scheduling and system alerting
Skills/Must Have:
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Genuine passion for networking and IT infrastructure
- Ability to understand and respond to customer needs with professionalism and clarity
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Confident in using Microsoft Office tools
- Full European driving licence
Desirable Qualifications
- CCNA And/or Fortinet Certifications
- Previous experience in a NOC/NSOC or technical support environment

Up to €35,000 basic salary per annum
