Ubiquiti Kaunas office is looking for a talented and self-driven C developer for airMAX team. We expect you to bring your experience, enthusiasm and creativity wherever you go and put them in the work you do. You should be able to think out of the box when finding solutions to brand new problems and make things work when the solution is not straightforward.

Role Description
Ubiquiti Kaunas office is looking for a talented and self-driven C developer for airMAX team. We expect you to bring your experience, enthusiasm and creativity wherever you go and put them in the work you do. You should be able to think out of the box when finding solutions to brand new problems and make things work when the solution is not straightforward.
Responsibilities
- work on latest wireless networking devices in cooperation with other engineers
- come up with solutions for various engineering problems and explain your ideas to other team members
- improve legacy code in terms of maintainability, CPU, memory
- 3+ years embedded firmware development experience with C on Linux or Unix-like platform
- experience with embedded Linux kernel development
- experience working with embedded devices, build systems and toolchains
- experience with all phases of the software development life-cycle
- knowledge of Git version control system
- experience with bash shell scripting and/or other languages like Python, Lua
- effective written and verbal communication skills in English language
- experience with wireless products
- experience with radio-frequency engineering
- experience with MIPS/ARM processors
- experience working with cross-compilers
- experience with OpenWrt / Buildroot
- experience with C++
- competitive salary starting from 5000 EUR/month (gross)
