Purpose of the job:


Design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Oracle-based solutions that optimizes Viking order management, fulfillment (OMS) and supply chain (Inventory, Cost Management, Procurement, Supply Chain Demand & Planning) processes.

The main stakeholder is the business, and the job owner will work closely with the Business Process Owners (BPOs), Business Process Experts (BPEs) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to drive & support the rollout of Oracle Cloud ERP OMS and supporting your Oracle Cloud Supply chain modules.

The job owner will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with business objectives, ensuring efficient and effective order management, fulfillment, and supply chain operations.



Description:



  • Engages in end-to-end implementation of Oracle-based solutions for order management, fulfillment and supply chain
  • Supports both Oracle Cloud delivery and support following the Oracle Cloud rollout
  • Supports the team of Oracle Cloud Supply Chain experts
  • Offers effective Oracle ERP SCM consultancy and support, using comprehensive knowledge of supply chain processes
  • Serves as the Oracle Cloud process SME, focusing on Order Management Orchestration, Inventory, Costing, SC Demand & Planning, and Purchasing Oracle processes, while supporting the SCM rollout across Europe
  • Engages in business change and continuous improvement initiatives, designing sustainable solutions that prevent recurring issues and involve necessary stakeholders
  • Translates business requirements into Oracle configurations and adjustments by collaborating with BPOs and BPEs to align system requirements and considers cross-modular impacts
  • Understands and supports functional integrations, particularly between front-end order capture solution and Manhattan (WMS solution)
  • Maintains business processes within assigned Oracle modules, including related interfaces and mappings to external systems
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to identify service issues impacting Oracle processes – escalates when needed and works with support teams for resolution while providing second-line process support for the business
  • Assists the Service Delivery Manager in major incident management, root cause analysis, identifying gaps and vulnerabilities, and completing follow-up actions
  • Supports the Oracle Product Owner in planning new patches/releases and maintaining environments (DEV, TEST, PROD)
  • Works with the Oracle Product Owner and Technical Expert to analyze new functionality of Oracle ERP/SCM/OIC; performs regression tests; assesses potential impact; advises on risks, benefits, and deployment strategies
  • Drives service excellence and internal customer satisfaction by managing expectations through communication with the Super User Community; refines Oracle support processes to improve quality and efficiency
  • Stays updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and Oracle updates to propose innovative solutions that drive supply chain efficiency and competitiveness.



Requirements:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Excellent English skills, both spoken and written
  • Extensive professional experience in implementing and managing Oracle solutions within the order Supply Chain domain
  • Proven expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle SCM Cloud, and related modules such as Inventory, Procurement, Order Management, Manufacturing, and Logistics
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, industry best practices; the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Knowledge and experience of working with Oracle Cloud Finance, at a bare minimum understanding of the module integrations between Supply Chain and Finance
  • Demonstrated experience in leading teams, including remote and cross-functional team members
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically while paying attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Oracle certifications and experience with integration tools, data analytics, and reporting platforms are advantageous
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies like AI, IoT, and blockchain within the supply chain context is a plus.
