We are seeking a structured and proactive PMO.
Reporting to the Programme Manager, the PMO will ensure governance adherence, coordinate programme-level forums, and provide critical support in planning, risk, and reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to the agreed programme governance framework across all workstreams.
- Organise and coordinate programme-level governance meetings (Steering Committees, Working Groups, Programme Boards, etc.)
- Drive consistency, accuracy, and quality of programme documentation, including SteerCo decks, status reports, decision logs, and programme dashboards.
- Monitor and maintain integrated project plans, identifying interdependencies, bottlenecks, and schedule risks.
- Maintain and update RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) across all projects and workstreams.
- Support the Programme Manager in preparing programme updates, progress reports, and executive-level communications.
- Facilitate alignment between stakeholders, delivery teams, and external partners to ensure cohesive delivery.
- Assist in onboarding new team members with programme context, tools, and governance standards.
- Proactively contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO processes, templates, and tools.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a PMO in complex, multi-project or programme environments, ideally within digital transformation or technology-led initiatives
- Strong understanding of programme and project governance, project lifecycle methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid), and portfolio reporting
- Excellent communication, organisational, and facilitation skills; confident engaging with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- High attention to detail and structured working style with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools such as Smartsheet, Monday.com, Confluence, Jira, or similar
- Comfortable working in an international, multicultural environment
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional language skills (Spanish, French) are an advantage
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience working in or with sports organisations, federations, or non-profit associations
- Familiarity with digital transformation programmes in a multi-stakeholder environment
- Understanding of change management practices and tools
- Exposure to data governance, IT architecture, or enterprise system implementations (e.g., ERP, CRM, DAM)
- Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP)
- Agile certifications or experience in agile-at-scale environments (e.g., SAFe, Scrum of Scrums)
