The Opportunity

We are seeking a Business Engineer to join our Financial Services - Acquiring Division, specifically within our Core Acquiring Tribe. As part of our DevOps team, you will be at the intersection of business and technology, working with cutting-edge payment solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you'll play a crucial role in shaping our payment solutions and acquiring services.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Analyze and document business requirements for payment solutions and translate them into detailed functional specifications
• Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements
• Conduct gap analysis and process mapping to identify areas for improvement in payment systems and workflows
• Create and maintain documentation including user stories, process flows, and use cases
• Support the DevOps team in implementing and testing new features and improvements
• Monitor and analyze system performance metrics to identify potential issues and recommend solutions
  
  

Who Are We Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Engineer, preferably in the payments or financial services industry
• Strong knowledge of payment systems, card processing, and financial transactions
• Experience in software development and/or IT solution design (system architecture)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Strong documentation skills and experience with requirement gathering tools
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• T-shaped professional mindset: deep expertise in business analysis with broad knowledge across related domains
