Job Description Summary

This role works closely with R&D and requires a clinical background in cardiovascular ultrasound. It serves as an interface between key clinical customers and the engineering team, focusing on user needs and experience. It involves developing specialized knowledge, staying updated on technical developments, and contributing to strategy and policy. The role demands in-depth knowledge of best practices, market awareness, and the ability to create and present best practice materials. It requires judgment to solve moderately complex problems, lead small projects, and influence others. The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness, etc.).

*This is a global role, and we are offering flexibility in primary work location and working hours. The new colleague will, however, be expected to travel globally about 50% of the time.*

Roles and Responsibilities

• This role requires a clinical background in cardiovascular ultrasound as it serves as an interface between the clinical customer and the engineering team. There is focus on collecting user needs and user experience requirements.
• Continued development of specialized knowledge within cardiovascular ultrasound. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest technical developments in subject matter area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
• Has in-depth knowledge of best practices that can be shared and integrated within other areas of the business. Has strong working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market. Has the ability to create materials for best practice sharing and present accordingly.
• Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas assisting the regions, product managers and/ or engineers. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses clinical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree from accredited university or college preferred but will also consider those with a significant level of cardiovascular ultrasound experience.
• Registered or certified sonographer with the ability perform clinical cardiovascular ultrasounds.
• Minimum 6 years of relative experience.
