Design Specialist (UI/UX)

Seeking highly skilled professionals to join our Experience Design team, with roles open for Senior Associate and Manager levels. As part of this dynamic team, you will be instrumental in crafting exceptional user experiences, blending UX and UI expertise to enhance customer journeys for a banking end client. Candidates with Financial Services (FS) experience, particularly within banking, are highly preferred. Proficiency in Arabic is a bonus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and deliver end-to-end customer journeys, ensuring seamless and engaging user experiences across digital touchpoints.
• Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with user needs and business goals.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to ensure design feasibility and consistency.
• Translate complex concepts into intuitive and visually appealing interfaces.
• Use data-driven insights to continuously improve user experiences, optimizing for usability, accessibility, and engagement.
• Advocate for design best practices and contribute to the development of design systems and standards.
• Manage and mentor junior team members (for Manager/Senior Manager roles), fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful projects.
• Expertise in tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar design software.
• Strong understanding of design thinking, user-centered design principles, and customer journey mapping.
• Experience working on digital projects within the Financial Services (FS) sector, with banking experience being highly preferred.
• Ability to balance business objectives with user needs to drive impactful designs.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale to non-design stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Arabic is a plus but not mandatory.
• Leadership experience and ability to guide teams (for Manager/Senior Manager roles).
