AI R&D Intern – Chatbot & Q&A Systems (AI研发实习生)

About the Role

Are you passionate about artificial intelligence, large language models (LLMs), and building smart tools that people actually use? Join us as an AI R&D Intern, where you'll contribute to developing our internal intelligent service platform. You'll work on real-world applications like chatbots and Q&A systems, using cutting-edge technologies such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), LLMs, and AI Agents to enhance internal productivity through conversational AI.

What You’ll Do

💻 Build and Improve AI Modules

• Design and implement components like text preprocessing, semantic understanding, dialogue flow, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Help improve the accuracy and responsiveness of our chatbots and internal Q&A systems.

🔬 Explore and Innovate

• Stay up to date with emerging AI trends, including prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, and LLM-based workflows.
• Bring new ideas to the table and explore how we can apply them to real use cases.

🤝 Collaborate and Communicate

• Work with a cross-functional team including product managers, algorithm engineers, and backend developers.
• Document your work clearly and explain complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical team members.

What We’re Looking For

🎓 Education

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

🛠️ Technical Skills

• Proficient in Python and familiar with Linux development environments.
• Basic understanding of NLP concepts, and an interest or experience in chatbot/Q&A system development.
• Familiarity with Transformer-based models (e.g., BERT, GPT) and LLM fundamentals.
• Knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) is a plus.

🌟 Soft Skills

• Curious, proactive, and a fast learner with strong logical thinking.
• Good team player with clear communication skills – able to explain technical concepts simply.
• Comfortable working in both English and Chinese environments.

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Hands-on experience with LLM applications or AI Agents.
• Used tools like LangChain, Haystack, or LlamaIndex.
• Worked on projects involving search systems, knowledge graphs, or intelligent Q&A.
• Participated in AI-related competitions or hackathons.
