Senior Low-Code/No-Code Specialist (3 month contract)

About the Project

We are looking for a Low-code/No-code Engineer to join a long-term project for a leading international insurance company (Property & Casualty domain).

The project is focused on building, maintaining, and evolving internal enterprise applications using Unqork low-code platform. This role combines both architecture ownership and hands-on development activities.

You will be responsible for designing application architecture, defining technical solutions, and actively participating in the development process. The role assumes close collaboration with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and cross-functional technology teams to deliver business-critical solutions in an Agile environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Become an expert in Unqork’s no-code platform, specializing in configuration and keeping up to date on best practices.
• Become an expert in all applications built through Unqork, contributing to their development and maintenance.
• Develop technical specs for new applications and features, outlining build in architecture diagrams.
• Work closely with product owners to design and implement new enterprise applications and application features.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams, ensuring alignment with established architectural principles.
• Investigate and resolve application issues with end users.
• Collaborate with technology partners to resolve software issues and provide feedback to request new feature implementation.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in software engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in math, engineering, or equivalent practical experience in technical or engineering field.
• Experience working with a low-code, workflow SAAS application.
• Experience in creating software architecture diagrams.
• Software development experience coding in a general-purpose programming language.
• Strong Agile proficiency with practical application to deliver incremental, high-quality solutions.
• Strong interpersonal skills, adept at building collaborative relationships across teams and stakeholders.
• Insurance Industry Experience (P&C).
• Unqork Experience is preferred.
• C# experience is preferred.

The Role

• Develop, maintain, and optimize solutions using the Unqork low-code platform, adhering to solid design principles.
• Design and implement no-code/low-code applications, ensuring seamless integration with event-based messaging frameworks.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and document user requirements.
• Develop and maintain workflows and support data migrations.
• Optimize application performance within containerized solutions for cloud environments.
• Build front-end interfaces and workflows using Unqork's capabilities, supporting alternative technologies where applicable.
• Collaborate with project management and third-party vendors to define delivery schedules and validate updates.
• Develop and execute testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT phases.
• Ensure seamless integration of new application processes into the production environment.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with technology risk, analytics, and Front Office teams.

Key Skills and Experience

• Over 6 years of experience or an extremely strong profile in low-code development, ideally with Unqork.
• Hands-on experience with full-stack development using no-code/low-code platforms.
• Strong understanding of design principles and event-based messaging frameworks.
• Expertise in integrating with various databases and experience supporting data migrations.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and deploy containerized solutions in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with creating workflows and UI components using Unqork.
• Proven ability to collaborate with business and IT stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Murex and in-house built platforms is advantageous.
• Strong business analysis and project lifecycle knowledge.
• Experience defining and structuring test plans and leading UAT phases.
• Solid communication skills – both written and oral.
