Product Designer 2

By joining Microsoft’s Business & Industry Copilot (BIC) team, you will play a pivotal role in envisioning, designing, and developing AI Agentic experiences—one of the most highly anticipated Copilot capabilities. You will also contribute to building enterprise experiences on Dynamics 365, driving a transformative revolution in sales, service, and support enterprise applications.

As a Product Designer II, IC on the Customer Experience team, you will craft user-centered, innovative design solutions that enhance both the emotional and functional aspects of enterprise products. This role focuses on delivering seamless end-to-end AI Agentic user experiences while balancing technical and business objectives. You will collaborate across teams to define, develop, and refine product features, communicate compelling product narratives, and mentor product designers to deliver exceptional design outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design Leadership: Takes ownership of the creative process. Influences designers and non-designers to foster collaboration and alignment, delivering UX artifacts and driving subsystem designs from concept to delivery.
• Experience Vision: Craft and present design strategies to stakeholders, balancing user needs, business objectives, and technology feasibility.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with design, research, product managers, and engineers to deliver interaction and visual designs aligned with UX goals.
• Design System Advocacy: Promotes and advocates for the adoption of design systems, shares insights, and collaborates with other designers to drive improvements.
• Communication & Storytelling: Clearly articulate design work, craft compelling narratives, and foster proactive collaboration. Explore innovative storytelling formats to inspire stakeholders with impactful narratives.
• Detail Design & Feedback: Develop task flows, wireframes, prototypes, and other design artifacts to gather feedback and refine designs for maximum user impact. Advocate for iterative improvements to achieve design excellence.
  
  

Qualifications

Required Qualifications (RQs)

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 5+ post degree full-time years’ experience working in product or service design
• OR master’s degree in industrial design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 3+ year’s post degree full time experience working in product or service design
• OR equivalent experience (e.g., demonstrated experience working in product or service design or using design thinking to solve problems)
