Job Description

The Python, PHP, PostgreSQL Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex data architectures and applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in these technologies and a deep interest in data architecture. The Developer has also an experience in the Finance industry.

Tasks And Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications using Python, PHP, and PostgreSQL.
• Design and implement robust, scalable data architectures and pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications and data systems remain competitive and up-to-date.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2-4 years of professional experience in IT architecture, software developments, ideally in the Finance industry.
• Strong affinity with the operations and able to manage stressful periods.
• Proficiency in Python, PHP, and PostgreSQL.
• Strong understanding of software development principles and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with version control systems such as GitHub.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  
  

Ideally

• Experience in Finance and core banking softwares (T24, GTExchange, GTFrame, GTMatch)
• Experience in software architecture.
• Experience working with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with queuing systems (Kafka, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ ..)
