As a Senior Java Engineer (f/m/x) you will be supporting DB’s Corporate Banking Securities Services (CB SeS) business. CB SeS is a technology centric business, with business and operational teams operating in 30+ markets and offices in many countries. CB SeS Technology works in a truly global set-up with strong local presence in Frankfurt, London, Amsterdam, Singapore, India and Berlin. What makes your job even more interesting are the engineering tasks of a huge Replatform Program ongoing to bring all 30+ markets into one, new application portfolio to settle securities of our clients. We use modern, future-oriented technologies and tools which provide you a perfect basis to be prepared for any future projects.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Active participating in sessions with business on required delivery, issues, status and demos.
• Usage of agile methodology through the entire software lifecycle and work as team and assist team members / other teams where required.
• Developing software services using Java, Spring Boot, Spring, JPA, React JS, Kubernetes and use AI for tasks that can be automated
• Mentor junior developers and trainees and be prepared to take your turn on call providing 3rd line support when it’s needed.
• Ensure that the software you build is reliable and easy to support in production by creating automate tests using Junit and BDD techniques, keeping your code clean, understandable and open for change as well as reviewing design and code of peers and team members.
  
  
  

Your Skills And Experiences

• Expert hands-on Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Docker, Microservices using Kubernetes and Kafka and preferable have experience of React.JS
• Practical experience of test-driven development and constant refactoring in a continuous integration environment.
• Strong Experience in ANSI SQL and relational databases
• Experience working in an agile team, practicing Scrum, Kanban. Experience in leading a small team of developers will be preferred.
• Strong verbal (English) skills
