Software Development Team Leader/Project Manager

Your new role:

Scope of duties:

• Manage your local software development team (you plus ~7 people including developers and a tester)
• Maintain and optimise your team backlog
• Help your team with discussing and solving technical issues (inside the team and with architects)
• Use JIRA workflows to track estimations, development and deliveries with the team
• Identify and mitigate risks at team level
• Keep an eye on the quality of epics being developed by your team (together with your team and PO)
• Join calls with internal and external stakeholders
• Contribute to the community by proposing and implementing process improvements

What you'll need to succeed:

• Master’s degree (technical field)
• 4+ years of commercial experience within the IT industry, including:

2+ years of experience in leading teams in software development projects

• Familiarity with technologies/tools such as Java, JavaScript, Web Applications, Security, Databases, Git, CI/CD, Test Automation (hands-on experience as developer in these areas is a plus)
• Ability to integrate people and maintain a friendly atmosphere towards achieving agreed goals
• Excellent communication skills, ability to provide concise status to management
• Curiosity about how delivered solutions work from both technical and functional perspectives
• Strong sense of responsibility, quality, orientation on goal and attention to detail
• Positive attitude to work, customer focus, problem-solving skills
• Immanent drive for improvement, pro-activeness
• Very good command of English and Polish, both in writing and speech

• Extra points for:
• Commercial experience as a software developer
• degree in computer science
