Software Engineer

Role Overview: The Senior Developer is an autonomous and experienced professional who actively contributes to team delivery while focusing on functional design and solution development. They also mentor less experienced team members on technical and functional aspects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with end-users, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements.
• Assist in designing and proposing functional solutions that meet user needs.
• Develop technical solutions that are efficient, maintainable, and scalable.
• Design, develop, and test software applications using appropriate programming languages and tools.
• Monitor the performance of applications in production and optimize or fix bugs as needed.
• Keep technical and functional documentation up-to-date and share knowledge with technical and non-technical teams.
• Help team members improve their technical and functional skills.

Skills:

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Scala, Typescript, Java, Python, JavaScript).
• Experience with development frameworks and tools (e.g., Play framework, Angular, Spring, React, Node.js).
• Database skills (SQL, NoSQL).
• Version control systems (e.g., Git, Github Enterprise).
• CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Github Actions, Docker, Kubernetes).
• DevSecOps practices (application security, code analysis, monitoring, logging).
• Functional architecture framework (urbanization principles, key artifacts).
• Software architecture expertise (robust, scalable systems, various architectures like hexagonal, event sourcing, CQRS).
• Software Craftsmanship concepts (clean tests, clean code, clean architecture).
