Radar System Engineer (m/f)

Your Responsibilities Would Include

  • Being the engineering lead in product function development programs
  • Participating in assessing development ideas and generating the necessary engineering recommendations to pursue or not pursue product ideas
  • Transferring of generic customer and stakeholder specifications into IEE system requirements
  • Ensuring that our generic product is developed to customer needs
  • Defining and supporting system test concepts
  • Performing engineering releases of system concepts
  • Leading design FMEAs
  • Presenting technical topics internally to customers and suppliers
  • Setting up and maintaining Engineering Configuration Management in close collaboration with the Program and Department Manager

You Would Need To Meet The Following Requirements

  • Academic degree in electrical engineering
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of state-of-the-art radar technology
  • A high level of knowledge and considerable experience in:
    • Physics and signal processing related to automotive radar systems
    • General automotive electronics development (hardware and software)
    • Automotive system requirement analysis and development
    • Automotive development processes
    • Methods to identify and manage technical risks
    • Understanding of vehicle packaging and component integration
  • Experience in:
    • MATLAB, DOORS, IQFMEA
    • MS Office
    • Version control software SVN
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, problem-solving and team working skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written); German or French is considered an asset
