Software Developer Trainee (LogBook)

NAPA Safety Solutions’ Development is looking for two summer colleagues for the role of a Software Developer Trainee for our office in Galati, Romania.

The role and the team

As a Software Developer Trainee, you will have the opportunity to learn while working, gaining hands-on experience in real-world software development projects. Your tasks will include reviewing technical software bug tickets, assisting in documentation, and improving tooling. You will join the Log Team and contribute to the development and maintenance of NAPA Onboard products in a supportive and innovative environment that embodies the NAPA Way, where self-management, growth, and transparency define our culture.

The role is temporary, lasting 3 months, and can be part-time or full-time. Your home base is our office in Galați, where you will work on-site during the summer.

When you begin to work, you will be assigned an onboarding buddy from the team, who will take care of a good start at your job and introduce the NAPA Way of working.

What We Expect From You

We are looking for motivated students eager to develop their skills in a professional environment while learning on the job. Key qualifications include:

• Studies in a relevant field, e.g., computer science or mathematics/informatics
• Basic understanding of software design and development
• Ability to think through software execution and problem-solving
• Interest in understanding the software development lifecycle
• Strong English skills for effective communication
• Good teamwork and collaboration abilities

Selected candidates will be given a take-home assignment to assess their skills before the interview stage.
