Senior Software Engineer

I'm working in partnership with one of Stockholm's most exciting start-ups, on a mission to transform how energy assets are utilized, powered, and secured, by bringing the most advanced software and ML capabilities to the power industry for a resilient and renewable-based future! ⚡

Founded by senior engineers with backgrounds from some of Stockholm (and the world's 😉) most renowned start-ups & scale-ups, they have developed an intuitive platform that is favoured by leading EV manufacturers, data centres, and power producers, which allows them to optimize how they source & utilize renewable energy, and mitigate the reliance on fossil-fuel backups!

The company has successfully grown to a 24 person headcount, a very talented engineering department and are now seeing increasing demand on the product both in Sweden & the Nordics, as-well as an opportunity to scale their mission further into Europe and beyond!

With this in mind, they're looking to bring in an experienced software engineer on a permanent basis to join their mission in transforming the energy space!

They code in Golang, and their platform is on AWS, but are open to considering strong engineers who may come from similar languages/tech stacks/product environments, who want to invest in their mission and keen to grow!

Quick outline:

• You'll help build a platform that makes the grid intelligent
• Uncovering, researching, and creating solutions for a Greenfield product
• Shaping and building everything from scratch, turning your hand to multiple technical solutions
• Bring new ideas, speak transparently, and bring intelligence to a complex industry

What you'll need:

• Strong Computer Science fundamentals - we think around 5 years of professional experience
• Experience in any modern back-end language. We currently work with Golang and AWS, but we’re confident you will learn that in no time.
• Curious - Constantly learning, ready to research and jump into something new.
• Experienced, or driven enough, to self-sufficiently uncover, explore, then build the solution to almost complete.
• Strong sense of ownership for their work and impact across the company; can work independently and involve others when needed.
• Honest and open: speaks up when something is right or wrong, gives and accepts feedback
• Willing and able to be in our very cool Stockholm office.
• Interesting and fun to be around. A nice to have for some, a must have for us.
