Position Purpose
We're excited to hire someone for our new opportunities in the APAC market, focusing on building innovative e-commerce solutions.
Project is focused solely on digital transformation of the business in Australia and New Zealand. Consisting of migration from legacy systems to the cloud-based architecture, while at the same time maintaining already existing solution.

Responsibilities
- Design & build e-commerce solutions at scale.
- Collaborate with other teams to develop solutions for catalog, pricing, tax and inventory management services.
- Maintain and migrate legacy systems towards a modern tech stack. Create a transition path, bringing solution you can be proud of.
- Lead the improvements in the area of quality and testing capabilities. Implement and maintain automated testing procedures to catch regressions and issues early.
- Build modern, responsive front-end components using modern libraries and frameworks such as React, Vue.js or Bootstrap.
- Ensure that web applications are optimized for speed and performance. This may involve minimizing page load times, reducing HTTP requests, and implementing other performance-enhancing techniques.
- Assess viability and usefulness of new framework and libraries, come up with recommendations for implementation.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and orchestration solutions.
- Ensure application security, as well as monitor performance and make necessary optimizations.
- Develop and integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Understand business needs and operations and turn them into well designed web applications.
- Keep the balance between perfection and business value.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in the full-stack role (70% FE, 30% BE)
- Experience in the development of cloud-based e-commerce solutions.
- Solid experience with back-end technologies (Java & NodeJS).
- Good understanding of cloud solutions and the ability to implement architectures of leading cloud providers (AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform).
- Familiarity with robust data structures and solutions (PostgreSQL, BigQuery).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with web security principles and practices.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in both technical and non-technical fields.
- Experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs for building and integrating services.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex issues quickly and effectively providing short and long-term solutions.
Nice to Have
- Experience integrating with headless CMS and commerce platforms (e.g., Contentful, Builder.io, CommerceTools, Shopify).
- Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks such as Cypress or Jest.
