They are currently seeking a talented IAM Consultant to join their team and play a critical role in the design, implementation, and management of IAM solutions for their clients.
Position Overview:
The IAM Consultant will be responsible for leading and supporting the delivery of Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions for a diverse range of clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their IAM requirements and design solutions that ensure secure, compliant, and efficient access to critical business applications and data. This role requires technical expertise in IAM technologies, with a strong focus on Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions. You will also collaborate with both technical and business teams to deliver high-quality IAM solutions that meet security and compliance objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Implement IAM Solutions: Lead the design, development, and implementation of IAM solutions, with a focus on Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) and Privileged Access Management (PAM), to meet client needs and secure critical assets.
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Work closely with clients to understand their IAM needs, including IGA and PAM requirements, conducting workshops and gathering requirements to inform solution design.
- Technology Expertise: Leverage experience with IAM technologies such as Omada, SailPoint, CyberArk, Saviynt, BeyondTrust, Okta, Azure AD, and others to deploy and optimize IAM systems, including user provisioning, role-based access control (RBAC), Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and privileged account management.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure that IAM solutions adhere to industry security standards and regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA), with a particular emphasis on IGA and PAM to ensure accountability and mitigate access risks.
- Integration: Work on integrating IAM solutions with enterprise applications, databases, and other identity systems, ensuring seamless interaction across platforms for both IGA and PAM processes.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security, infrastructure, and business units, to ensure the IAM solution meets the organization’s broader IT and security objectives.
- Optimization: Provide recommendations for IAM best practices, focusing on continuous improvement of IGA and PAM systems, and identify opportunities for optimizing identity workflows, security, and user access controls.
- Training and Support: Provide technical training and support to clients, ensuring they can effectively use and manage their IAM, IGA, and PAM solutions.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert advice and guidance on IAM, IGA, and PAM-related topics.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience in IAM Technologies: At least 3 years of hands-on experience with one or more of the following IAM technologies: Omada, SailPoint, CyberArk, Saviynt, BeyondTrust, Okta, or Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Expertise in IGA and PAM: Solid experience in designing and implementing Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) systems and Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions, with a focus on user lifecycle management, access certifications, role-based access control (RBAC), and privileged account security.
- IAM Architecture and Design: Experience in designing IAM architectures that include provisioning, de-provisioning, SSO, MFA, RBAC, IGA, and PAM integrations.
- Security Knowledge: Strong understanding of information security principles, data protection, and IAM security standards.
- Integration Skills: Proven experience integrating IAM solutions with cloud platforms, on-premise systems, and other identity systems.
- Problem Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex business and technical requirements and translate them into IAM solutions.
- Project Management: Experience in managing IAM projects, including timelines, budgets, and resources, with an ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex IAM concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Client-Facing Experience: Experience in a consulting or client-facing role, with the ability to manage client relationships and expectations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM), or vendor-specific certifications for IAM technologies (e.g., SailPoint Certified IdentityNow Engineer, CyberArk Certified Trustee).
- Cloud Experience: Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS) and their integration with IAM, IGA, and PAM solutions.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in Norwegian is required.
