AI Engineer

MS Capital is a private fund management company with a strong founding team with long-accumulated experience in strategy modelling, trading system and platform development. Using advanced artificial intelligence technology as the cornerstone, and enforcing strict investment management, the company's investment fund has gained sustained and stable returns.

We are looking for a highly skilled AI Engineer with expertise in time series modelling and foundation models to develop and deploy advanced AI solutions for financial time series data. This role is ideal for someone passionate about deep learning, generative models, and applying AI to real-world financial problems such as forecasting, anomaly detection, risk modelling, and strategy optimization.

We also welcome current MSc or PhD students to start as internship role, for those have related research/academic experience for time series foundation model.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, design, and develop foundation models specialized for time series data, particularly in financial contexts.
• Implement state-of-the-art architectures such as Temporal Transformers, TimeGPT, or other relevant LLM variants for time series.
• Fine-tune and adapt foundation models to various financial datasets (e.g., equities, derivatives, macroeconomic indicators).
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers and data scientists to integrate AI models into trading and risk platforms.
• Evaluate model performance using back testing, forward testing, and statistical metrics.

Required Qualifications:

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming and familiarity with AI and machine learning libraries
• Experience with large-size data structures, algorithms, and software engineering best practices.
• Proven track record for research & development of time-series model
• Familiarity with real-time data pipelines and stream processing frameworks
