Position Summary:

• We are seeking an experienced PHP developer with strong expertise in Symfony framework and a proven track record of integrating with Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Practice Management systems. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust integration solutions that connect our healthcare software with various clinical and administrative systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable, secure integrations between our platform and various EHR/Practice Management systems
• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and other integration interfaces
• Troubleshoot complex integration issues across multiple healthcare IT systems
• Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, etc.) and regulations (HIPAA)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements
• Document integration specifications and maintain technical documentation
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience developing integrations with EHR and Practice Management systems
• Strong proficiency in PHP development and Symfony framework
• Experience with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, CDA)
• Thorough understanding of HIPAA compliance requirements for data exchange
• Experience with RESTful API development and consumption
• Familiarity with SQL and database design
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with specific EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, athenahealth, etc.)
• Knowledge of React JavaScript framework
• Experience with Docker containerization technologies
• Familiarity with healthcare workflows and terminology
