A highly successful eCommerce retailer with a portfolio of 10 brands is seeking a Backend Web Developer to join their dynamic Web & Marketing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about backend development and eager to make a significant impact on brand new greenfield projects beginning in the business as well as migrating older software to Laravel.

The Role:

• Develop and maintain systems using Laravel
• Collaborate with various departments including Marketing, Graphic Design, and Customer Service to optimize website performance.
• Improve aesthetics, functionality, and conversion rates of eCommerce websites.
• Take ownership of projects, working alongside front-end developers to deliver cohesive, functional code.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong skills in PHP, MySQL, and object-oriented development.
• Experience with MVC frameworks such as Laravel
• Ability to work with APIs and use code versioning tools (e.g., Git).
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a team player mindset.
