WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
As a Senior Data Analyst – Team Lead, you’ll:
- Lead and mentor a team of analysts, fostering quality, ownership, and growth
- Deliver trusted insights across a medallion architecture (bronze, silver, gold)
- Build and optimise pipelines using SQL, PySpark, and Databricks
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to prepare and validate model training features
- Integrate data workflows across Azure ML, AI Studio, and enterprise systems
- Translate business questions into hypotheses and validated insights
- Maintain notebooks, documentation, and metadata for reproducibility
- Troubleshoot pipeline issues and mitigate data quality and latency risks
- Create dashboards and outputs in Power BI or equivalent tools
- Apply advanced analytics including clustering, forecasting, and classification
WE NEED YOU TO HAVE…
- 7+ years in data analytics or engineering
- 4+ years hands-on with PySpark, SQL, and Databricks
- Strong experience with Azure-native tooling (Data Lake, ML, AI Studio)
- Proficient in data modelling, feature engineering, and time-series forecasting
- Skilled in notebook development, pipeline documentation, and governance tools
- Confident leading technical teams and managing delivery cycles
- Full working rights in Australia
IT’S NICE TO HAVE…
- Experience preparing data for machine learning models
- Exposure to clustering, regression, funnel analysis, or time-series modelling
- Background in healthcare, aged care, or regulated sectors
- Understanding of data privacy, AI ethics, and governance frameworks
- Familiarity with tools like DataHub, Purview, or other metadata platforms
- Interest in working across a growing digital and AI ecosystem
