ABOUT THE ROLE:

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a strong focus on semantic markup and accessibility best practices
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and backend developers to bring interfaces to life in a way that is accessible for all users.
• Conduct and maintain automated accessibility tests using Playwright and ensure ongoing compliance with WCAG guidelines.
• Perform front-end development tasks with a focus on cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
• Utilize tools like WAVE, Lighthouse, and screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver) for accessibility evaluations and improvements
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous front-end optimization.
• Optionally, conduct manual accessibility audits and optimize keyboard navigation for enhanced usability.
• Work within an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  
  
  

WHAT WE EXPECT:

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with attention to semantic and accessible coding standards.
• Experience using screen readers, especially NVDA and VoiceOver.
• Bonus points for experience with the Angular framework, manual accessibility audits, and keyboard navigation optimization
• Familiarity with Playwright or similar tools for automated accessibility testing.
• Understanding and practical implementation of WCAG accessibility guidelines.
