Function:

Reports to: Head of IT Security

Purpose: DKV is looking for a security engineer, who enjoys IT security work and possesses deep and wide expertise in the System Engineering security space.

You will be responsible to make our systems and applications more secure by protecting system boundaries, keeping computers and network devices hardened against attacks and securing highly sensitive data. For implementation of new network and computer security controls for an organization.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and data
• Respond to security incidents and continuously update incident response process and tools
• Collaborate on new infrastructure and business projects
• Document and maintain:
• Security documentation of the infrastructure, business applications and its configuration
• Security tools (SIEM, XDR, AV, DLP, API/access gateways, CTI, application security tools, vulnerability management, firewalls, hardening, WAF, etc)
  
• Identify and define system security requirements
• Design computer security architecture and develop detailed cyber security designs
• Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols
• Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices
• Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks
• Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancement
  
  

Requirements:

Hard skills:

• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or equivalent by experience
• 5+ years of experience as System Engineer, of which at least 3+ years as Security engineer
• Experience in building and maintaining security systems, involvement in big enterprise projects and familiarity with governance
• Hands on experience in security systems, including SIEM, XDR, application security, vulnerability management, authentication and authorization systems, firewalls, intrusion detection systems
• Experience with network security and networking technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools
• Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols
